On 1 June 2014, we successfully launched It’s A Dog’s Job (But Someone’s Got To Do It) at Centennial Parklands with the support of Assistance Dogs Australia (ADA). The humans enjoyed Croissants and Organo Gold coffee and special treats from Chewbies and Love ‘em were on offer for dogs!

My former client and good friend, Scott Walters kindly launched the book, reflecting on his time as both dog and owner. Richard Lord, Top Dog of ADA, explained the work of assistance dogs and showed us the amazing skills of Taylor, their wonderful four-legged PR flack. You can see a video of the launch formalities here.

I signed my book for guests and then we held the mixed (humans and hounds) Frisbee challenge – won by a likely young lad, who narrowly edged out the canine competition.

Thanks again to everyone who attended!
